Our Story

The founding members of Ipseity Marketing spent years in a website vacuum developing attractive and full-featured interactive sites for wide-eyed businesses and non-profits expecting an instant fix from the “magic” of the internet. What we found along the way was, while looking good, these sites, quite honestly, failed to yield the results we were looking for.

The attitude “if you build it, they will come” with regard to web marketing continues to permeate the advertising world with disastrous results. Developing an internet presence has become cheaper and easier than ever, and the justification for hiring an overpriced advertising agency wanes thin. Eager website techies jump in and grab the business for a fraction of the cost, saving the company thousands of dollars but often losing the bigger picture in the process. This cost the business more in the long run in lost revenue by having a web presence that costs less, but fails to meet the needs of the customer or communicate the identity and values of the company. As websites emerge as one of the primary methods of communication in the advertising world, this decision comes at a high cost.

What we discovered is that in developing websites, often the most basic questions are ignored:

  • Who is my target audience?
  • What am I trying to communicate?
  • What do consumers need out of this website?
  • What do I offer that sets me apart from my competitor?
  • How can I most effectively reach my customers?

Ipseity has taken their experience in the advertising world and married it with web technology to bring you a solution that actually works…that is, increases your profits. We take the tools that exist and develop customized plans for any budget that will communicate effectively a message that actually speaks to your customers. We take time to sit down with you and get to know you and your business instead of applying a “one size fits all” template for every company. We spend more time listening and less time in front of a computer designing a web presence that looks good but doesn’t deliver.
